Seasoned Greetings!
After a summer of once-a-month email newsletters, we've decided to keep that format going into the fall. Of course, you can follow us on any of the social media platforms listed at the end of this message for day by day updates to our offerings, but this announcement list will be sent out once a month to give you a good summary of what's been going on. This time around, we are looking at the changing of the seasons with everything from grilling guides to one-pan dinners and more:
Tangy Summer Snack
When it's hot and I don't want to touch the stove, I reach for my canning jars and make marinated chèvre and pickled … well, everything. Add bread from my favorite bakery and a glass of wine and I'm set until the heat breaks.
Battle Of The BBQs
Whether you are cooking with charcoal or gas, we've got your BBQ needs covered with a fun look at the differences and amazing recipes to help you show off this Labor Day weekend. So fire up the grill and get started.
Sweet Stuffing
Stuffed vegetables seem like a no brainer when the summer harvest is at its peak. Mix up your offerings a bit with a sweet version of stuffed peppers that has a Hawaiian touch, including baking them on a bed of spiced pineapple!
Candy Buffet Ideas for a Sweet Party
Get all of the candy buffet ideas you'll need to create a stunning (or stunningly cute) setup at your back-to-school celebration. Everything from color ideas to table setup tips help you make your gathering something to remember.
Summer-Fall Food
Sometimes a pasta salad is really what you're looking for when it comes to the perfect side dish. Get one brimming with the flavors of the Mediterranean that plays well with everything from chicken to fish to steak. Summer-fall food can be a stunning treat!
Slow Cooker Snacks
As the weather gives an occasional cool day, plan ahead and make your own spiced almonds. Instead of firing up the oven, use your slow cooker to make stirring easy and cleanup a snap. You'll never make them in the oven again!
Forest Cow
If you've avoided venison because it never seems to cook up tender or you are worried about it tasting "gamey", grab your pressure cooker and get ready for a Korean favorite with a healthier twist. The pressure cooker is the perfect tool for tender venison brimming with flavor every time.
Back to School Break
If your time since the kids have gone back to school feels filled with preparing breakfasts, school snacks, school lunches, after school snacks, and attending every PTO meeting, sports practice, classroom meetups, and more … pause! It's time for sangria popsicles.
One Pan Wonders
When a single skillet can hold your dinner dreams, you're in luck. When that same skillet can get you a meal that's comforting, hearty, delicious, and inspiring, it goes way beyond luck. That's the stuff of planning ahead!
Weeknight Shorts: Seasonal Sides
As we say goodbye to summer and welcome fall, side dishes can become one of the easier things to get on the table quickly. Whether you are slicing tomatoes onto a plate or tossing some beans from the garden with a spicy dressing, sides are where it's at!
Chocolate and Cherries
A match made in heaven becomes a clever twist on plain 'ol boxed brownie mix. Never underestimate the power of combining chocolate and cherries to make a downright elegant dessert without investing a lot of time or money in your sweets.
Building Bowls from Leftovers
Leftovers can be the building blocks of an inspired bowl meal or the finishing touch, depending on what's in your fridge, freezer, or pantry. So grab a bowl and start layering the old with the new and enjoy a laid back dinner tonight!
Season-Switching
Between mid-September and mid-October, our seasons tend to be pretty fluid. It's a great time of the year to switch things up a bit and blend flavors associated with both summer and fall to make your meals sing.
