- 1 lb. sweet potatoes
- 1 T. canola oil
- ½ T. cornstarch
- 1 tsp. smoked paprika
- ½ tsp. chili powder
- ½ tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. granulated onion
- Pinch cayenne
- 1 tsp. salt + more for post-roasting
Preheat the oven to 425° F.
Wash the potatoes well, pat dry, and slice into even-sized long, thin pieces.
Add everything (oil, cornstarch, spices, and sweet potato fries) to a large plastic bag, seal, and shake well to coat evenly.
Spread the fries evenly on a baking sheet and roast for 15-20 minutes, until crispy and tender. Remove from the oven and toss with more salt to taste. Serve hot.
