- 2 lbs. chicken wings, tips trimmed
- Grillmate Gourmet Sauce or Phil's BBQ Sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
If the chicken wings are whole, trim the tips off with a sharp knife or cleaver. Pre-frozen chicken wing segments will work as well. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F, and place the wings in a roasting pan. Season the wings with salt and pepper. Use convection cooking if available on your oven.
Place the roasting pan with wings into the preheated oven to bake for 15 minutes before turning the wings using tongs. Bake for 20 minutes if the wings are frozen. Bake for an additional 15 to 20 minutes and then coat the wings with sauce. Return to the oven for the sauce to caramelize 2 to 3 minutes. Turn the wings once again and spread the sauce on the reverse side. Caramelize in the oven for an additional 2 to 3 minutes. You may get the sauce to caramelize quickly by broiling the wings for the last couple of minutes. Finish by basting the wings with additional sauce before serving.
