- ¼ c. butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 4 (6-ounce) tilapia fillets
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 head broccoli, cut into bite-sized pieces
Preheat the oven to 400°F. Lightly oil a baking sheet (I used the bottom piece of my broiler pan) or coat with nonstick spray; set aside.
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, and lemon zest; set aside. Slice the juiced lemon into rounds and set them on the prepared pan.
Season the tilapia generously with salt and pepper and place on the prepared baking sheet over the lemon slices. Add the broccoli pieces around the fish. Drizzle it all with the butter mixture.
Bake the fish and broccoli until the fish flakes easily with a fork, about 15-20 minutes. Thicker fish fillets will take longer to bake. Serve immediately.
