- ¼ c. soy sauce or gluten free tamari
- 1 tsp. fish sauce
- ¼ c. orange marmalade
- 2 tsp. grated fresh ginger
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp. crushed red pepper
- 2 tsp. toasted sesame oil
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. julienned carrots
- 1 c. thinly sliced green cabbage
- 3 sliced green onions
Mix together the soy sauce, fish sauce, orange marmalade, ginger, garlic, crushed red pepper, and sesame oil. Set aside.
Add the ground beef to a sauté pan over medium-high heat and cook until browned, about 3-5 minutes, making sure to crumble the beef as it cooks.
Add the carrots, cabbage, and onions; stir in the sauce mixture until well combined, allowing the mixture to simmer until heated through and the carrots and cabbage are softened slightly, about 2-3 minutes. Serve immediately with hot cooked rice.
