Seasoned Opinions

Ronda L. Halpin
Usually, when we're talking about pumpkins here, it's about how to roast one, how to make a great pie or even how to make pumpkin-filled ravioli. But not this time. This time, we're thinking about Halloween. This time, we're asking you about your favorite jack-o-lantern designs and fun pumpkin-carving stories.

I'll begin. While I've seen some pretty impressive jack-o-lantern faces, my favorite designs are little Halloween scenes, like a spooked cat or a spooky goblin in proper settings. I once carved a cat face into a pumpkin and it took several hours, but turned out beautifully and was fantastic when lit and set out on Halloween night.

Each month, we ask a different question here. Your answers and feedback will appear below in the comments section. We encourage you to check out everyone else's answers and make comments and suggestions. This is a great way to get to know people who love reading this electronic magazine. Who knows, your next Internet friend may be a few clicks away!
