Welcome to the July issue of Seasoned Cooking. We have some exciting articles to share with you this month. But first, I want to let you know about a great new resource here at Seasoned Cooking. Some of our long-time readers might remember the Related Links page we've hosted since our first days of publishing. Well, that page has now been replaced with an interactive set of pages that allows visitors to browse or search a database of cooking, decorating, and fitness web sites. You can also instantly add a link to your own related site. You can get all kinds of information, including the site's linked title, the types of content offered to visitors, and a brief description of the site. You might even find a linked logo for the site or a rating given by the Seasoned Cooking staff. Make sure you visit our automated Seasoned Links and let us know what you think!
On to our second order of business. You might notice that the old Seasoned Cooking logo has been replaced. Our new steaming pot is a lot more universal than the old one. "What's cooking in the pot?" you might ask. New ideas for Seasoned Cooking and you, of course! Keep your eyes peeled for additional sightings of our logo over the next few months...it's bound to pop up!
Now, on to a brief overview of this month's issue. Our cover story is about windsurfing. Given the exceptionally warm weather many of us have been having so far this summer, you might welcome this witty look at a great way to get in shape, have fun, and stay cool. Here's hoping we all get the wind we're looking for! Herb gardening and thoughts on coffee are to be found in the feature articles offered this month. Find your favorite recipes featuring herbs from your own garden and end your meal with coffee brewed right. Being July, we also have a couple of articles on the traditional barbeque. Cooking Ahead gives hints on how to save time and enjoy great grilled tastes. Victoria shares some hints on how to have a vegetarian Independence Day -- make sure you try the Seasoned Vegetable Kabobs! If you've ever wondered about the value of those Disney videos sitting on your shelf, Lacey tells all and you're bound to be just a bit surprised. We've also got a Readers' Corner that's devoted to ideas that were inspired by articles right here in Seasoned Cooking. Keep sharing your thoughts with us! These are just a few of the great ideas Seasoned Cooking has to share with you this month. Have fun checking out the issue and make sure you let us know what you think. You can always send email or post a message in the message board.
