- 3/4 c. granulated sugar
- 3 T. cornstarch
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 pkg. (3 oz.) strawberry gelatin
- 2 c. sliced strawberries
- 1 c. blueberries
- 1 prebaked pie crust, cooled
Mix the sugar and cornstarch together in medium saucepan. Gradually add the water, stirring until well blended. Bring the mixture to boil on medium heat, stirring constantly; boil 1 minute. Remove the pan from the heat. Add the dry gelatin to the mixture; stir for 2 minutes until completely dissolved.
Add the fruit to the gelatin mixture; carefully pour the fruit into the prepared crust. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours before serving.
- Yields: 8-12 servings
- Preparation Time: 10 minutes plus chilling time
