Sausage-Ramp Pizza

  • Dough for 1 crust
  • Cooking spray
  • 8 oz. Italian sausage
  • ⅓ c. tomato sauce
  • ½ c. chopped ramps
  • 6 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 oz. buffalo mozzarella, sliced

Preheat the oven to 400° F. Spread the pizza crust dough evenly in a large pizza pan or a rectangular cookie sheet. Set aside.

Brown the Italian sausage in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Drain if needed.

Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the prepared crust. Arrange the cooked sausage, ramps, shredded cheese, and slice cheese over the top of the crust.

Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes or until the crust is browned and the cheese is melted. Serve hot.

  • Yields: 8 servings (serving size = 2-3 slices)
