Peach Iced Tea

  • 5 tea bags - I like using regular or decaf Ginger Peach Tea from The Republic of Tea
  • ⅔ - 1 c. sugar, to taste
  • 5 c. boiling water
  • Half a lemon, sliced
  • 2-3 peaches, plus more for garnishing

Place the tea bags and sugar in a large heatproof jug, pour with hot water and stir until the sugar dissolved. Let it steep for about 10 minutes, then discard the tea bags.

Stone and thinly slice the peaches. Add to the hot tea along with the lemon slices; stir well. Cover and completely cool in the refrigerator.

Serve in chilled glasses with ice cubes and additional peach slices, if desired.

  • Yields: 4-6 servings
  • Preparation Time: 10 minutes
