Christmas Porridge

  • 1 c. steel cut oats
  • 3 c. water
  • Pinch salt
  • 1 c. half and half
  • 2 T. honey
  • 2 c. mixed berries
  • Brown sugar

Combine the oats and water in a crockpot. Cover and set on low and allow to cook overnight. When you wake, Stir the oats and add the salt and half and half. Microwave the honey for 30 seconds on high and drizzle over the berries. Serve the porridge with the berries and brown sugar.
