Cheese-Filled Rolls

  • 1 tube (about 16 ounces) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 4 ounces cheddar cheese, cut into eight 1-inch square cubes

Preheat the oven to 400° F.

Using your fingers, press each biscuit round flat into a 6-inch circle. Place one cube of cheese in the center of each circle and wrap the edges of the circle around the cheese, pressing to seal the cheese into a dough shell. Place each biscuit, seams down, into a cup of a muffin tin. Pour about an inch of water into any tins not filled with dough. Bake the rolls for 14-16 minutes or until they are golden brown. Allow them to cool for 2 minutes before carefully removing the rolls from the muffin tin. Serve warm.

  • Yields: 8 rolls
  • Preparation Time: 20 minutes
