Happy Valentine's Day! I'll admit I don't do much for the big day and prefer to attempt to be romantic all year round, but a little sweetness in the kitchen isn't too hard to conjure up. Like a hot breakfast on a cold day or a special dinner plan. A couple of weekends ago, I made thick-cut bacon, which is definitely a sign of love. Alongside, a slice of homemade bread had a heart-shaped piece cut out (yay, cookie cutters!) and an egg was fried into the center. It made for a delicious and sweet breakfast.
So, what about today? Well, the menu includes steak and eggs for brunch and a stuffed venison tenderloin for dinner. I haven't quite worked out all the details, but it will be yummy. And for dessert? Who is gonna complain about fudge? Not this girl. Have a great day.
