Brrrrrrr!!! It's cold out there. Now is the time to pack away all the holiday glitter and decoration and find the warmest blankets you can find and wrap yourself in them from head to toe. Keeping warm means dressing warm, but also finding ways to warm yourself from the inside out. Hot cocoa, tea and warm and comforting soups and stews are all great ways of doing just that. In the spirit of helping others warm up, too, we're asking you to share your favorite soups and stews with us. If you are feeling particularly generous, toss out a link or two for recipes!
I'll begin. I actually really just love this kind of food in general. But I'm a particular fan of Indian-style curries, which are really just beautifully spiced stews. Whether they are meatless curries filled with chickpeas and roasted sweet potatoes or spicy dishes featuring tender chicken or chunks of slow-cooked lamb, give me a bowl of curry and some freshly made naan (Indian bread) and I'll have a smile on my face. Two of my favorites are Kerala Prawn Curry and Mulligatawny Soup. Let's hear about yours!
