When mid-June rolls around in Wisconsin, it's time to enjoy the height of strawberry season. Incorporating fresh berries into everything from salads to desserts to barbecue sauce becomes a high priority in my house. We are hoping you feel the same way, so this month, we're asking you to share your favorite strawberry recipes or ways to use strawberries.
I'll begin. There are few things I enjoy more than a fresh strawberry pie. When your berries are fresh and ripe, you need so very little to showcase them. Another favorite of mine is sliced berries with a dollop of yogurt, a sprinkle of toasted wheat germ and a drizzle of honey. It's so simple, but one of my absolute favorite breakfasts. Okay ... now it's your turn!
Each month, we ask a different question here. Your answers and feedback will appear below in the comments section.
