August brings the height of the harvest, along with days that call for a creative kitchen. Tackle that challenge with the promise of ethnic cuisine. It brings with it variety, great ways to incorporate fresh produce into your meals and creative twists for the hottest days of summer. Knowing all this, we're asking you to share your favorite ethnic cuisines with us. If you have a recipe or two, those would be even better!
I'll start things off with my own answer. I find myself drawn to cuisine that's both spicy and features a lot of fresh produce. For me, that often translates to Thai food. Add freshly cut, juicy melon and you've got a recipe for a perfect summer meal. Of course, I won't complain if I end up with some iced tea, too. Thai iced tea, of course! Happy summer!
