I've got a couple foodies on my own Christmas list and while I won't list what I'm getting (don't want to spoil the surprises!), I am going to share some of my favorite gifts I've given and received. I adore themed gifts. If a specialty coffee pot comes with coffee beans, mugs and special syrups for flavoring lattes, you've given a useful gift that can show the recipient that you've put time and effort into a gift that's been customized for them. Likewise, if you use a colander as a basket and fill it with pasta, specialty sauce, fine cheese, imported olives and roasted red peppers, you know that a wonderful meal is in your foodie's future! It's all about taking the time to gauge your loved one's tastes and put together something that will really wow them. Good luck and Happy Holidays!
