My favorite spring flowers are lilacs and tulips. Something about those flowers spell the best of spring for me. Tulips just make me smile -- I can't see them without smiling -- and lilacs make me think of my grandmother's home. Her home in spring smelled of lilacs and wet earth. It conjures memories of tilled gardens and the smell of hay in the barn.
May brings the season's best selection of wild flowers. Everywhere flowers are bursting out of the earth and previously empty bits of land are becoming adorned with the colors of the season. So, this month, we're asking you to share your favorite spring flowers with the Seasoned Cooking community. Whether they make you smile when see them on the lawn or in a vase on the table, we want to hear about the spring flowers in your life.
Each month, we ask a different question here. Your answers and feedback will appear below in the comments section. We encourage you to check out everyone else's answers and make comments and suggestions. This is a great way to get to know people who love reading this electronic magazine. Who knows, your next Internet friend may be a few clicks away!
