So this month, we're asking you how you fight your cabin fever. My own solution lies in finding ways to venture out and enjoy the outdoors as often as I can and otherwise finding ways to make the indoors more inviting. Several years back, I started snowshoeing. A couple years ago, it became a particularly fun hobby when my corgi puppy decided he was a big boy and was ready to tackle snow alongside me! Now, whether it's in my backyard making trails for my short-legged friend or out in the nature conservancy with him running out in front until he gets tired and decides to chase the snow I kick up with my snowshoes, our outings become a fun activity that has us both winded by the time it comes to an end. Once we get home, it's hot cocoa and a roaring fire or a hot bubble bath for me and a nap in his cozy bed for my furry friend. And when it's all said and down, suddenly winter doesn't seem so bad. So share your ideas for beating back those winter blues too!
