Greetings!
There are three great articles to share with you this week. The first is a great article about roasting chicken in the slow cooker without drying it out. It includes a super simple recipe for chicken roasted with oranges and onions and it makes a great meal and fantastic leftovers.
The second blog article posted this week is the result of me experimenting with a new bundt pan and some lime curd. The result is a moist, creamy lime cake that's filled with lots of tangy sweetness. The short story is that I like the pan and the lime curd is a secret ingredient that will find its way into more treats in the future. The longer story is in the article!
Finally, our final offering this week is the first in a multi-part article by Sandra Lee, of Food Network fame. Her newest cookbook will be released later this month and she's offering samples from it for you. The cookbook is all about bake sales and the community efforts these fun and tasty traditions fuel.
