Seasoned Cooking: 11 March 2011 Announcements

By Ronda L. Halpin, 11 March, 2011
Greetings! There are three great articles to share with you this week. The first is a small grumbling about the political mayhem that's happening in my hometown of Madison, Wisconsin and how I deal with stress by baking -- and then taking baked goods down to the Capitol Square to share with people! The recipe I included is for rich, delicious Classic Pumpkin Bars. The second blog article posted this week is all about spring rolls. Filling a spring roll wrapper with fresh veggies and spicy chicken makes for a fantastic dish that helps welcome the new season. Making a homemade dipping sauce packed with fire and citrus makes it all the better. Get recipes for both in this great article: How Does Spring Roll? Finally, the suddenly chilly weather this week - a sure sign that spring really is just around the corner - has me pondering tea and enjoying it in its many forms. I share my favorite ways to partake and ask about your own rituals. I also talk a bit about tea time, from which this blog article gets its title. Find links to all of these articles by visiting our homepage and let us know what you think of the new features. Here's to a seasoned lifestyle!
