A selection of cheeses, some grapes and a bottle of wine. A couple wrap sandwiches and an apple munched as you walk. A pizza on the grill at your local park. Picnics come in all shapes and sizes. Really, all you need is food and the great outdoors and you've built yourself a picnic. July is National Picnic Month and we're asking you to share your favorite picnic foods with us.

I adore picnics. So much so that I tend to carry a blanket and minimal supplies in my car just in case an opportunity arises for one. As for my favorite foods, panini-pressed wrap sandwiches are a recent favorite, although finding super sweet fruit and pairing it with sharp cheese and cold white wine makes me very happy. And the great thing about those items is that, as long as you have a good market nearby, you can have a picnic together in minutes!
