Last month, we were talking salmon on the grill. This month, as the weather gets cooler and cooler, we're opting for an indoor option in the oven instead. A perfect fillet gets a super simple slathering of a seasoned mayonnaise and a quick visit to a hot oven. Minutes later, you have supper on the table.
Have it as is with a few side dishes or opt to set pieces atop a main dish salad. Better yet, opt for it one way one night and the other the next. Leftovers that are delicious AND healthy for you. What better present for you and your loved ones?
As always, I encourage you to share your recipe ideas and comments. You can always post comments in the discussion board using the forms provided in the articles or email me directly at . Enjoy!
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Meanwhile, place the salmon fillet on a broiler pan. Mix the mayonnaise, salt, garlic, wasabi powder and pepper in a small dish. Spread evenly over the salmon and spray very lightly with cooking spray. Transfer the fish to the preheated oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes or until it flakes easily with a fork. Slice the salmon into sections and serve.
