Welcome to the April issue of Seasoned Cooking. With Easter just around the corner, thoughts of colorful baskets brimming with lovely chocolates fill the minds of children -- of all ages -- everywhere. We wouldn't want to spoil the atmosphere, so we're bringing you a special Happy Endings column that's your guide to molding your very own homemade chocolates to give as gifts and enjoy yourself. If you're looking for other special holiday treats, look no further than Victoria's Vegetarian Victuals. This month, Vicky's sharing everything from breads decorated with Easter eggs to chocolate eggs that are sure to please. Our favorite characters from the Cooking Corner are cooking up their own plan for some scrumptous peanut butter eggs. Everyone's joining the fun and sharing a great recipe too.

Another Easter favorite that's given a nod this month is ham. However, this is not another recipe for baking it. Home Cookin' finds answers to a common dilemna: What to do with 25 pounds of leftover ham?!? Think it can't be handled? Think again! If you're thinking about adding some seafood to compliment an elegant Easter dinner, try the recipe for Prawns with Lemon Butter Sauce offered in Phil's International Flair. Surprisingly simple, this recipe is sure to have your family smiling and asking for more.

Before you think that Easter is just about the food, let me also remind you that it's often about coffee as well! Our resident coffee expert, Chris Schaefer, offers his suggestions on the perfect coffee lover's Easter basket. His special feature covers all the basics and then some. While it does focus on coffee, the story has a plot that works for everyone: Give from the heart and with the personality of the recipient in mind and it will be a welcomed gift!

That's just a sampling of what we've packed into this month's issue. I'll leave you to discover the other gems to be found.
