Welcome to the February issue of Seasoned Cooking. This month, we're celebrating our third year of publication and welcoming some exciting changes to the Seasoned Cooking website.
If you've been visiting us for a while, a lot of the changes are pretty obvious. We've reorganized the content and improved the look and feel of
of the site to make the many resources available here at Seasoned Cooking more easily found and utilized. Resources like the mailing list and herb chart have found their way into general categories like community and tools. Everything that was integrated into the site before is still here -- only it should be easier to find. I'd encourage you to browse through these resources and take advantage of them.
We've also added some exciting new resources to the website. We'll soon be hosting scheduled chats in our new chat room. In the meantime, stop in to see who's around and how to take advantage of the special features that are available with our chat utility. We've also included a powerful measurement conversion utility in the new tools section of the website. You can use it to convert the units of measurement in any recipe to those that you are most comfortable with. You'll also be seeing a popup version of the utility included with some of recipes in Seasoned Cooking's articles.
Our new homepage includes information about the newest issue of Seasoned Cooking as well as announcements and information about new things that are happening on and off the website. You'll want to check back frequently to get information on things such as upcoming chat topics, articles that will be featured in future issues and surveys about everything from pots and pans to vitamins and health.
Despite all of the changes that we're unveiling this month, you can rest assured that the heart and soul of Seasoned Cooking hasn't changed. We're still devoted to promoting healthy living with our blend of cooking tips, recipes, health-related information, and crafts for today's busy lifestyle. We want to share our passion for life with you.
And, as always, we want to encourage you to strive for a seasoned lifestyle. New look or not, that's what we're still all about. Have a great month and here's to a seasoned lifestyle!
